What are ThermaSteel panels?
Our insulated metal panel systems make the entire building envelope including exterior and interior walls, floors, and roofs. The panels arrive to the building site ready to install. Get your structure, insulation, and vapor barrier all in one and ready for any type of siding.
How much do ThermaSteel panels cost and are they more expensive than traditional building materials?
It all depends on your project. Panel thickness, thermal insulation, amount of steel, type of steel, heights of walls, number of openings, size of openings are just a partial list of the cost factors. ThermaSteel building will be roughly 20-22% of the construction budget equal to framing made of 2/6” wood construction with sheathing and R30 insulation. When you add labor, materials, and overhead (such as dumpsters, shipping, and tools) we are going to cost less than traditional building. Our panels are pre cut and ready to install which means less waste, less tools, and most importantly a lot less time. Labor is one of the largest costs when building and our panels cut that cost in half on most projects.

Is maintenance is required for ThermaSteel panels?
Every building requires maintenance. However, unlike the traditional building, steel and EPS panels do not suffer mold, mildew, fungus, termites, rot, bowing, water damages, ect… That reduces the maintenance significantly. More so, the insulation won’t degrade within over time and weep down in the wall system keeping your home warm in the winter and cool in the summer!
